Motorola A780
Is there anyone here that actually *owns* this phone?
If so, was it difficult to get all the features working? Did you have to go through all the hoops that this guy went though?

Mostly no, this person either doesn't know how to follow directions, or he just purchased the phone with incorrect accompanying software... or he didn't receive software at all.
1) Mail -does- have problems resolving domain names. I do have to put in the IP address of the mail server.
2) The Opera browser is fine. You need to quickly setup a profile with the correct WAP gateway. It's something that if you purchased a phone directly from a provider it'd be done automatically. But since you have a very advanced phone that will never see the light of day here in the good old USA, you have to know just a little more. It works excellently with very simple setup.
3) (shrug) TransFlash (128MB) worked without a problem out of the box, but...
