Motorola A780?
1. Does anybody know how or who I would purchase one of these phones.
2. Does anybody know if there is a service over here that I would be able to use this phone on.

1. There presently is an Asian release of the phone, though I would wait for the American Version.
2. Since the Phone is Quad based, as long as the phong is unlocked you can use ATT, Cingular, or T-Mo.ile

Actually, the A760 is almost two years old. Asia got an upgrade to the A768i earlier this year. Motorola has just begun shipments of the A780 to Asia. Europe will follow soon. US release is still unknown.
I'm guessing no carriers have picked it up yet, or the carriers are waiting to launch EDGE networks in the US before releasing this phone.
