using as wireless modem for laptop?
Has anyone been able to use this phone a wireless modem for your laptop? It would be really nice to get EDGE on the laptop, but I've heard reports that Cingular does not support this phone as a wireless modem.

I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to make a bluetooth connection and use the phone to connect to the internet. Of course you will need to purchase a data plan through Cingular. I am not a Cingular rep, so I'm not certain if the information I am telling you is 100% correct, but it would seem like a waste of a good phone if Cingular crippled this capability.
