v551 when using a bluetooth headset you cant set ringtones
👿 Hello guys:
I have a v551 and i have everybody with nice ringtones. When I'm using the headset i only get the standard continental ringtone. Does anybody knows how to change that? If i used the headset i can only hear that annoying ringtone?

I have tried everything to get around this! I hate losing all my ringtones when I am using my HS810....anyone know I can use anything other than that horrible continental ring? Much appreciated!

There is a small fix.
You can have BT permanently on, have your phone ring, open up your boom mic, and then answer your call. That's the only way around it.

He is right....keep BT on...its in the same menu. Set Bluetooth Power to "ON".
ALL Motorola phones exhibit this when the boom is open. Only way around it - keep it in the pocket, phone rings, open boom and talk.

Yes, I should have already know that BT was already always on. This does work, although for some reason when I open the boom, I also press the button which hangs up on the caller, gotta get used to that....

How do I send ringtones, pics, and etc. via bluetooth to other Motorola phones. Does the other device have to be connected to a BT also? I know if off the topic, but I would appreciate any feedback and thanks in advance.
