Need Help - Can anyone tell me how to program Voice Names so I can use Voice Dialing?

😕 I'm confused on how to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

simple. First, the name/number must be stored in the phone memory not the SIM chip. Pick a name entry then select VIEW, then EDIT. If it reads SIM in the 'Store To:' field, change it Phone. This will enable additional fields. Go to 'Voice Name:', select CHANGE, follow on-screen directions to record a voice tag.

When i store it in the phone it says press voice key, but when i push the voice key it just records my voice, but that's all it doesn't do anything else.

I just signed up for Cingular service myself last Weds the 8th and have been playing with all the options on the v551. I have just been playing with this voice option myself the last few nights. You have to setup your entries using the instructions that jbrian gave.

After you record the entry you should be able to press the voice key again and say the tag. The phone should open up the address book to the entry in question, repeat the tag, and the phone should dial. It has worked like this the few times I have tried it at least.

My only problem now is remembering the voice tags I used. 😁
