Just curious: What Bluetooth adapter are you guys using with this phone?
...
I use a Belkin F8T001 ver. 2 BT adapter. Works well with my v551.

Hey CJammer
I just got the DLink BT120 and I can't get it to work with my v551, using either the Windows XP Generic Bluetooth drivers or the DLink drivers.
With the Windows drivers, I get the following problems:
When I try to send an image to my PC, I get the Unable To Connect error message even after the device was discovered.
When I try to send an image to my phone, the phone says its corrupted and doesn't save it.
And with the DLink drivers, Windows doesn't even see the phone. I've read this forum and it sounds like a lot of people are having this problem. Any suggestions? Anyone?

Interestingly I had some simular issues with my adapter and XP sp2. The 'work around' for the Belkin adapter is to goto the hardware manager and goto the bluetooth section. From there you manually update the driver. Reason for this was a sp2/Belkin driver conflict. Once the Belkin driver is 'reinstalled' it started working as advertised. Your BT adapter may have a simular sp2 issue. The 'problem' is xp sp2 has it's own bluetooth driver that 'steps on' oem bt drivers.
Good luck in getting your adapter working.

Windows is so unreliable when trying to get things to work. Plain and simple, Windows wasnt designed to work. Mac OS X has a built in Bluetooth program and preferences. To pair two devices you simply open up the preferences, hit Find/Search and it takes a few seconds to locate your device, when it has located it you hit Pair Devices, you're done. Sending files is a breeze, you can even browse the entire contents of certain phones and pda's.
I've managed to pair my Sony Ericsson T637, my friends Motorola V551, my cousins Pocket PC, my mouse, and keyboard without a single problem.
Many PC users dog Bluetooth claiming its crap and and unreliable. (Not saying you guys are). What they should be dogging is Windows, that's the problem. ...
