Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557

I have been told that cingular does not offer battery save function in the v551, i was wondering what peoples thoughts were on this, also i have been reading the user reviews and thought it would be nice if people would mention either how they got their phone, or what their carrier is, or better yet both. If indeed cingular does not offer battery save in this phone, when will they change and activate this feature as apparently there are a large number of people who are upset with battery life..... maybe someone knows of an upgraded version of this phone that will be coming soon to cingular? thanx for reading

I have no problem with battery life myself. Easily getting 3-4 days out of a charge. Though I do not use Bluetooth (which WILL use up more battery). I also don't open it up and play with it that often. Ie.. No SMS, No camera, Maybe a quick game, internet browsing..
Signal strength will also affect battery life. A low signal will cause the phone to use more power in order to stay connected whereas a strong signal will cause the phone to use less power.
