Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557

I am seriously starting to think that I dont know what Im doing anymore. I have been trying for days to find my friend's phone in order to swap media, I have'nt been able to find him, I thought it could be cuz he has a V551 as well, so I tried finding my brother's phone. He has a Nokia 6230, and I still couldnt find him neither could he find me. Can anyone tell me how you do it. So far, I have only been able to find my headset and my Mac, but for some weird reason I cant find other phones. What am I doing wrong!¿!?
