Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557
New 551 question
I just got the new 551 replacement. IT has a Blue E where the old satalite icon was and under it there are two bars one is Grenn and the other is red? Should they both be Green? What do they mean? Also I read somewhere on here that The Blue E meant you were pathced through the ATT system for data info when online?? I guess I should have taken the manual out of the box but I didn't think . plus Cingular instucted me to only use the phone and not take anything else. IS there a manual online somewhere?

That's a good question because I don't recall seeing that in the manual. Of course, I could have overlooked it, but I'd like to know the answer to that myself. lol.

The E simply means the phone is capable of EDGE access. It has to do with the wireless internet. Simply means high speed data to your phone.

Yes Edge is whta I ment about wiresless internet. But what do the two bars under mean? Do they both need to be green?

I can't imagine that they would waste screen space and memory just for looks.
