Does the v551 support SSL/TLS encryption for email?

I'm interested in purchasing a v551, but one requirement I have is that email can be configured for SSL/TLS encryption. I can't find any confirmation one way or the other.

From looking at the email setup in my v551 it does have an option for security. It had 2 options:

Use SSL for Sending: Yes/no
Use Ssl for Receiving: Yes/no

Wether it actually works or not is a good question.
