Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557

I've been having slight problems getting the v551 to recognize its charger (three different chargers to be exact) and as of today it will not recognize any of them, no matter how much I adjust the connection. I've throughly cleaned the connectors with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to no avail.

Any last suggestions before I ditch this phone for an L7?
