Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557

No charge/USB Connect

I feel as if my v551 has degraded ever since I have gotten it. It charged perfectly at first, but as a year went by I had to start moving the charger around alot to get it to start charging. Also, I was able to connect it to my computer before, but now it will not even be detected. I can still charge it after like 5 minutes of moving it around. Any help?

Do you have a warranty?

It sounds like the charging "port"
has become faulty.

I was having the same problem. I cleaned my contacts with a Q-tip & isopropol alchol. It seemed to do the trick, as I haven't had the problem since. Hope that helps....Pat
