Maximizing Battery Life for Samsung SCH-A890
Just got one of these phones for my Mom (for video messaging videos of new grandchild). I picked this one over the LG because she's always had a Samsung phone, and the interface seemed simpler than the LG's.
The reception at her house can be a bit spotty at times (but works great everywhere else), and I'm assuming this may be causing her battery to drain a bit faster (her fully charged battery was almost dead over just 1 night and this site shows standby times up to 336 hours or 14 days!) I know keeping the phone in the charger is the best bet, but she tends to forget until the battery is almost dead.
