I"be been to a couple of websites online and talk to cingular, so far this phone should be out in december before christmas with a price tag of 399 with 2 yr contract, it didn't say without but i'm guessing this phone doesn't even have a rebate jus like the V3 which is 499 regardless. Either way i can't wait to get this phone 🙂

actually, somehow i stumbled upon the s710a at amazon.com and they have a mail in rebate for $150 that brings their price, with contract to $270.

😁 This makes me really happy. What I dont see is the the Phone contract and plan i must abide by if i get this phone. Where can i find that exact info, i saw the amazon site and wanted to know what plan I must abide by for this phone. Thanks

Your carrier or another dealer that works as an underwriter for that carrier will have all that info when the phone comes out..and it will be awhile before we see this phone..sometime next year..

I agree with Icyhot, I don't expect to see this phone in the near future. At least not in the month of of December. Also, you can rule out purchasing the phone from Amazon for Cingular if you plan on porting your number. Amazon does not port numbers to Cingular.

Actually, this phone is still SCHEDULED for a December rollout by Cingular. Not sure of the holdup with the FCC, but Cingular is pushing for this one to make it out during the holidays.
