When?
Ok im hearing a lot of things...so who really knows when this phone is coming out? Someone said it was a simultaneous release date with the z500 but the z500 came out and theres no s710. So someone plz tell us when this phone is coming out!!!Thanks!

i'd put money on it comming out before christmas, they're advertising it like crazy.

I'd take that bet. I'm betting that, even with the advertising, that this phone won't be release before Christmas.
Scenario 1: They release before Christmas, rushing the phone, buggy, and cause people to turn away.
Scenario 2: They push back release to 1st qtr. They make a few people mad at first. People threaten not to get the phone, not to get another SE phone, and basically damn Cingularm and SE. Still when the phone is released, you'll be hounding your local store daily becuase they've sold out again of the greatest phone we've seen yet. And Cingular and SE still make money, and we'll still get the phone.

I mean i agree with u on the release because i don't know a phone that was released basically on the same day as the fcc approval, but as far as the phone coming out buggy i don't think it will for they been planin this phone for a long time and all the bugs are probably gone, beside SE isn't really known for buggy phones or bad camera's so i'm not worried on that, i just believe something is keepin them from releasing this phone, i believe they have to make a certain schedule for release's and it wouldn't make sense for them to release the s710a at the same time as the Z500 or even right afta words, they have to space it apart, I'm still relyin on a before christmas release but won't be surprise if it doesn't, either way i'll end up waitin ...

considering the phone has basically the same OS as previous models, and it is based on the s700i which is already out, the only difference being no fm radio and EDGE support, making bugs in it would be tough. there is a great review of the s700/s710a over at mobileburn.com check it out.
