i just came back from CES and Sony had this phone out. I noteced no problems with this unit, and it was no larger then my SE Z600......and yes it had the cingular software 😉 .

The Sony Ericsson rep. did? What the hell do they know about "Cingular's" release dates? Probably nothing. Thanks for the info, but I dont take a Sony reps word really. Sony Ericsson know what Sony Ericsson does, not what Cingular does.

CES was a ZOO the first two days. Yep, the reps said the same thing to me at Sony- they are not as sharp as most other reps who will only smile or shake their head when asked anything about what the carriers are doing- remember the Motorola V710?!? Motorola rep told me it would be out in May- yeah, right!

That link says it will be available Q1 2005. Doesn't say a couple of weeks 1st quarter is anytime between now and March.

Read the only sentence of the last paragraph. Besides, it's G4 and I can't really take much of what they say for that kinda stuff as true. They've butched some of my favorite shows.

Yes, it does. You claimed that the article does not say the phone will be available in a couple of weeks which it very clearly does state in the last sentence of the first paragraph.
On the other hand, I never even implied that the article does not also say 1st Quarter, so you have no point.

I saw it when you told me to re-read that first paragraph - I missed it the first time...but it ALSO says Q1 2005 so my statement about re-reading the last paragraph was more of a question of the articles reliability. It was never a statement about what you did or didn't imply.
