CDM-8940: $294 2year, $349 1 year, $419 full retail
VX8000: $269 2year, $319 1 year, $389 full retail
SCH-A890: $319 2year, $369 1year, $439 full retail
The VX8000 will have a $70 Rebate. No info given on if the CDM-8940 and SCH-A890 will have rebates also.

I sure hope those pictures of the 8940 aren't accurate, its much better with an all black inside. Perhaps the A890 is priced higher because they will have fewer in stock??

The 8940 is made in two models, all black, and the other silver with black keys.
Don't know if Verizon will be offering them both.

The 8940 is priced higher becaue it has all the features of the other EVDO phones PLUS it has a removable mini SD card.
With the card in this phone, Verizon will not make as much EXTRA money since you will be able to transfer ringtones and pictures to and from your computer then email them without encurring an extra charge from Verizon.
The mini SD card is a MAJOR advantage of this phone! 😁

Sorry, I meant to say that the 8940 is priced higher than the LG 8000.
It's anyones guess as to why the SCH 890 is higher than all of them and it doesn't even have a speakerphone and a smaller screen than the LG 8000. 😕

The samsung is priced higher because its a better quality phone period. Go check out Verizon Samsung phone just by feeling them you can tell its good quality. After samsung LG makes a better QUALITY phone. Now remember im saying QUALITY not whos the most FEATURE RICH

besides the samsung 310...and a few 530s...th enew 610/650/670s have been rocksolid in reliability
actually all of the samsungs..even the ones my girl has had with sprint have had top notch reception...just stuff sometimes goes wrong like screens, microphones past a year and a half...
