CAN'T SAVE ANYTHING TO SD CARD!!!!
I Can't save a single file to the card. The Card is a brand new Sandisk 256MB. I can't get MP3 files to play. I keep getting the message "No Music Files".
Even Worse when I take a pic and chose save to SD Card . I get an error and CAN'T save.
Any suggestions ????
TIA

OKAY:
Just speant my morning talking to audiovox and sandisk.
Supposedly there is a problem w/ 256mb sandisk cards w/ the phone.
Anyone else having problems?
What brand are u guys using?

I have a Sandisk 256 card and it works fine.
Try going into Settings/Security/SD Card, then transfer to new phone. It will format the card into a way it understands. And don't worry it doesn't erase the data...it only re-arranges it somehow.
I have to do that after adding stuff from my computer.

I have done the phone format and "transfer to another phone thing". I can't save pix taken on the camera to the disk.
According to Audiovox and Sandisk the problem is not occurring in all of the cards but it is problomatic to MANY. It has something to do with the "secure feature" of the memory card.
When I called CS of Audiovox the first question they asked is what brand card are you using. I told them Sandisk and their response is "there's your problem".
I am just trying to find out what brands people are using so I can get a good one.

you have to go to settings/security/sd card, then hit format....after youve done that you have to go to pic mode, and it that mode hit options, then #9 (save location) and make it save to the sd card...after that is done, put your sd card in the card reader for your comp, and it should have made one file with 3 files inside of it (pix, flix, and mp3s), at which point you can transfer files to the mp3 folder....then insert it back into phone, do settings/security/sd card again, and hit 2 (transfer to new phone) once this is done, remove the card and put it back in and you should have music files found when you push the outside play button. This may sound complicated but it really isnt, once you do it a couple times its really pretty easy. I...
