PIC and Video File formats
When I put pics and videos from my mini sd card onto my computer I am unable to view them. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to view these files.
Also I had to get a replacement 8940 because the phone locked up after going into extended roaming and when I put my mini sd card into the new phone I wasn't able to view the pictures and videos I took with the old phone. This is really odd since its the same phone, but if anyone know's anything about this.....please let me know.

I think that when you put your mini SD card into the new phone, the new phone set up its own set of folders on the SD card, so what you need to do is to move your pictures & videos from the old folders into the new folders, then you can delete the old folders.
I get the impression not much is being done by Verizon to correct the lock-up problem. I've tried 5 different 8940's now and every one has locked-up once it goes into the "Extended Network" mode.

yeah this happened to my phone as well.. but i just cut it off and cut it back on to get it to work... but if other people are having this problem... we should ban together and ask verizon to either fix this problem or give us some kind of refund or something

I also have run into this problem and wish i could find some way to view the files 😡 . If anyone finds a way please let me know.
I have also read that there is a way to load movies onto your phone and not having to download them using V-Cast, but using a data cable. Does anyone know where you can get the data cable? 😁
