Audiovox CDM-8940

hey. i'm new to the forums. i was just wondering if anyone had any problems with your 8940 dying. well i dont know if that is the correct term to use. i made a call around 3 oclock one day and i went back to use the phone maybe an hour later only to look at a dead phone with a blank screen. i thought that the battery had died so i put it on the charger, but the phone wont even charge. does anyone know what the problem is? is it just my battery? or do i need a new phone all together? when i try to turn my 8940 on the lights on the keypad just keep turning on and off, and the same thing happens when i plug it into the charger. thanks in advance for anyone who can possibly help.
