It's almost the same but with few different features. You can go to the carrier's site to read the differences. I think 317 is verizon and 315 is Tmobile.

Actually, the e315 is for Tmobile. The e316 is AT&T. And the e317 is for Cingular. I'm not positive but I heard that the e317 doesn't have video capture which, in my opinion, would make the e315 and e316 better phones.

e315 is for T-mobile. The e316 is AT&T. And the e317 is for Cingular. all actually have the same features the only difference is the design of the phone and the carrier. i personally like the E315 😎 and i love the t-mobile service. by the way the att and cingular service are not good.
