How's browsing?
Any feedback on web-browsing?
...
😕 I was actually impressed with the browsing. Since i have not yet abandoned my nextel cell phone, I hardly used the 7100 on Satruday for the phone, but was surfing for a couple of hours and was impressed with speed and ease. Was in the park with my son for about an hour- went thru the NFL -ESPN pages and read all the articles on the weekend matchup- Checked into my work "Outlook on the Web" and while the formatting was not good, I could read messages from any folder with a little bit of playing around...All in all- web is impressive- u just need to make sure you have good coverage in the location-

Thanks for replying!!!
As one who lives in the "Big Apple" I assume coverage would be pretty sweet. I'm curious, how's mapquest, which is why I would like the web-browsing? It'd be great to get directions on my phone while driving. I also wonder, what data service is like in Europe, as in speed and reliability.

Funny you should ask about Mapquest. That was one of the first web browsing i tried and was impressed. Ofocurse one cannot get to exit 13 on the turnpike and punch in directions for holland tunnel as it is possible that you may be in Linocln by the time all the pages are downloaded; but it still works well if you give it the time.

not bad...its nice to be able to access java sites. Depending on the site you may get an akward page layout but for most sites it's pretty cool.
