Speaker Hiss and Buzzing Sound
I have has the 7100t for over a week now, and its a great handset. However, today it the speaker started buzzing. It makes the sound that the old GSM phones used to make when near another phone. If i put my ear to the speaker at the back - its hissing. Never did that before.
One of my colleagues also has the phone and its been doing this all along. Anyone know how to quieten the speaker and get rid of the intermittent buzzing?

You need the software upgrade that fixes problems with the speaker phone ..

There's an update for the desktop software and for the phone itself. The update takes about 20 minutes for the phone and is a little nerve wracking since it appears for a while like the phone is locked up .. just wait it out.
