Loose Battery Cover
My son just bought this phone from T-Mobile. I noticed it has a very loose battery cover. I told him something must be wrong, and advised him to take it back. When he did, the person at the store told him they are all like that. I find that hard to believe. Is that so? Do they all have very loose, wobbly battery covers?

Hi - Wow - I thought I was the only one. You are so right. I had a Cingular 7100G and i returned it just for this purpose and went back to a 7290. The cover is so loose and rattles. Feels like a plastic toy. Any fix yet?

Best way to eliminate the loose cover is placing a folded business card between the battery and cover. Works well.

Just purchased the 7105 from TMobile and the battery cover stays put, unlike the 7100 I had from Cingular (which went back).

I didn't have that problem with my 7100g from Cingular, but I have seen some that the battery cover seemed a little loose on it. Maybe Cingular corrected the problem since then.
