LG AX-5000 / UX-5000
*sigh*
All VZW model numbers are VX-1111, etc.
All Alltel specific models are AX-1111, etc.
All USCC specific models are UX-1111. etc.
Verizon launched (or will soon) the VX5200 (which is nothing special either) and this is the regional carriers similar offering.

Wrong! Most of USCC'S LG phones are VX-xxx. And they've had an LX-xxx. And the VX5200 and 5000 are different phones. the 5200 has dual color displays and no video capture, and obviously the 5000 has a monochrome outer display and has video.
Meaning "only" carried by them, this is the numbering scheme from now on. You will never see an LX AX or UX model offered directly thru Verizon.

Verizon always seems to get garbage...
And what, exactly, is garbage about this model? A basic phone with camera, flash and video capture? We've become spoiled brats.

Come on muchdrama you know it's a boring phone, especially compared to some pretty decent phones coming down the pipe line for verizon. There might be even a phone worth signing you up for another two years. Don’t fight it much, I know T-mobile looks appealing but once you get off the interstate you’ll miss the big V.
