My friend Hector has a friend whose wife works as a cashier at Albertsons. Her husband who works for Sprint says the phone will not be out until March 15. The joke around Sprint is beware the ides of March for which 5600 cometh. LOL

When you say the release date is March 15th, what do you mean? Will all the sprint stores carry the Sanyo 5600 by March 15th or do we have to contact telesales to place an order over the phone and wait a couple of weeks later to be delivered nationwide to all the local sprint stores?

from my info the 5600 is slated for the "end of march" which when i remember looking at the sheets on arrival dates, the 22nd sticks in my mind. but, the phone was also suppose to be out 4th quarter last year so who knows. i honestly think that this time the release is correct, considering a few things that i have seen(best buy info, direct sprint stuff) are coinciding

I think if "Hector" really worked for Sprint then he would know by now that no one at Sprint knows the exact release date of any phone. So we should just quit with the speculation and just wait for that magical day when Sprint decides to be consistent with their phone releases
