Well the 512MB is the biggest mini sd card right now, but Sandisk will be producing a 1GB card soon. I read it will retail for $100. The articles is in the threads somewhere.

My 512 MB mini SD comes tomorrow ($59 total ship to door) . All the literature and the Sprint accessories offered on the PCS website, show only up to 512. Doesn't mean larger isn't supported, just that it isn't currently readily available. (There ARE larger ones out now just not widely available.)

My PPC and my Digital camera both reportedly topped off at a 512 SD card if I went by the documentation they had but when the 1GB SD came down to a reasonable price and I tried one they both used it with no ill effects. Keep in mind the larger memory cards sometimes get a little warm and may cause you to have to charge your battery more often.

Forget the Sprint site. 512 mini cards can be bought for 50 bucks. Do a google search for "1 gig mini sd" and you will get some hits saying coming soon. I found one (I think it was from San Disc) that said it would retail for $80. The 512 is pretty big, 8 hours of MP3 if I'm doing my math right, and you would probably want a second card to use for mass data storage/transfering anyway. Keep in mind that with the 5600 you can go to a friends house, download files from their PC and bring it back to your house for upload.
