Picture Quality
Pics in the light are awesome but they are really bad when there isnt sufficient lighting. The flash doesnt really help. Not as bright as the 5500. The 7400 has a night mode. Wondering why Sanyo didnt put that same feature in this one. Is everyone else having this problem? Hope its just mine.

no dude, its not just yours. i posted a message stating just that the day it was released through telesales. pics rock with like freakin daylight, but suck even with regular home lighting. and none of the presets help, nor the flash. 😢

The Sanyo 5600, in low light, takes horrible, horrible photo's. If you want much better quality, look at the Audiovox PM-8920 and Samsung MM-A700.

You are right this phone sucks in low lighting. I was at a grand opening tonight and I tried to take some pictures and I could not because I could barely see a thing on the screen. While 2 other people at my table had lesser camera phones or less expensive. One was a Motorola and the other a samsung, there pictures came out great in the low lighting.They were like how much did you pay for the phone again? I just got finished showing off my phone just prior to taking the pictures. I was so embarrassed!!!!
