help me decide. is this phone really worth it?

i know most of you are going nuts over the mm-5600...but is it really the best phone on the market?
my contract just ended with nextel and i am up in the air about which carrier to go with. sprint, att/cingular, or verizon.
while the mm-5600 is the best sprint phone, it seems there are quite a few phones w/ similar or more features from other carriers.
i guess in other words, how does the mm-5600 compare to the sony ericsson s710a or the motorola mpx220 for cingular? or the audiovox CDM-8940 for verizon?
it seems those phones all have the same features and the 2 cingular phones have BT.
so..being that i can go with any carrier and i am basically making my decision based on the phone...do i really need sprint and the 5600?

I played with the MPX 220 for a couple of hours and although it had some impressive features, it had major flaws. It was very difficult to use, alot of the menus were slow to respond, the HTML browser was useless due to the small screen size, and MP3 ringers were so quiet that they were unusable. I guess it would be a good phone for someone who wants a PDA, but can't handle the size of the PDA phones.

so... anyone have some input as to how the s710a compares to the 5600?

If you are going to get any Verizon phone get the new LG 8000... That is the best phone I'd think for Verizon... One of the guys at my work is going crazy about the s710a.. Like no other... I'm all about the 5600 I think it is an amazing phone and I like the walkie talkie feature... The s710a is a nice phone also, I personally dont like the design, another thing is it runs off of cingular. Now I dont want to start this big thing on what service is better. I'm going off of what people at work tell me(i'm the wireless expert at Bestbuy)... They tell me how it works great in my area, chicago area, but then when you travel it takes a s..t So yeah.. I think Verizon is the best service out there, and then Sprint... Cingular is great in big towns a...
