In an attempt to obtain my $150 rebate, I was sent to the local Sprint store to get the rebate form. On the rebate form, the first stipulation is that the sales receipt or packing slip be dated between 3/13/05 and 4/6/05. For those of us that purchased the phone through telesales before 3/13, does this mean that we are not eligible for the rebate? Or do we have to obtain a different rebate form. I just renewed to a 2-year thinking that was all I needed, now reading the fine print, I/we may be screwed. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks.
Fakking Sprint is beginning to piss me off.

Yes since you came into the store after the 13th all of the rebate forms they hand out are the current ones...you just need to go back to the store and tell them that you bought the phone before the 13th and they will give you the old rebate.

I was told by the telesales rep I bought my phone from that the rebate slip would be in the box. It was not. I called cust care and they told me to go into the store. I told them that the sprint store was inconvenient for me, I wanted it mailed. The guy then proceeded to put me on hold for several minutes without telling me what he was doing and when he came back he told me there is a store 8 miles away. I said that yes I already know where the store is, but it takes about a 1/2 hour in traffic to get there, so I want it mailed like I was promised. He then told me that I need to call tele sales back. I didn't have telesales # and the guy sounded like an idiot so I called back cust care and another person told me telesales was who I n...

In my opinion lazy people should not be able to bitch about things. If you want the rebate now go get it now. If you want to wait and be lazy then don't bitch about it!

I paid $429 + tax for a phone and was promised I would be sent a rebate form. I don't think it's unreasonable to be a little annoyed when Sprint tells me that because they forgot to send it, I should spend an hour in traffic and likely another 20-30 minutes waiting in line at the store, seeing as it's a very busy location and I would have ask someone to search for one of the older forms. There is nothing lazy about placing a value on my time. Maybe when you have a nice sunny day off, you like to enjoy it by spending 1hr+ driving around town picking up rebate forms, but not me.

issues: time and money
you want the money from the rebate for your expensive phone. and you don't have the time to waste, but apparently you have been waiting a week to get the rebate form. Instead, you could have gone to the store the same day, filled it out, and sent it already. Your rebate would be processing rather than you complaining about not getting a stupid form. 😈

It's not taking up any of my time to wait for the form. It does take up my time to drive to the store. I don't care how long it takes me to get the rebate, just as long as I get it. It's not like I need that $150 right away for my rent or something.
My problem is all the incompetent people I talk to. If they promise to do something, then they should do it. The sprint employees who say to go to the store are the lazy ones. They are too lazy to mail it out to me like they said they would, so they try to pawn it off on the retail store. I worked a Srint retail store for 4 years. Where I worked we frequently didn't save rebate forms past their expiration, so there's no way of knowing if they even have them. Also, some markets would d...

Wait I want to butt in... so 95% of the time they dont pick up the phone. Did you try? Or just assuming like most customers that complain about a service because they are just flat out lazy. Think of how lazy you are, there are many other people that our out there that are lazy also, and some even lazier. Why not call the store, see what they can do. Maybe they have it, maybe they can send it to you in the local mail. I could do it for you, dont work for Sprint but I'm able to get them but no way in hell will I do it for someone as lazy as yourself. That is unreal. What do you do for work that you have no time what so ever to go stop by the sprint store, if it's 40 minutes away or 2 hours. Do you want the 150 dollars... If not return the 560...

Not to be rude but, you should refrain from commenting on a situation, when you haven’t read all the previous posts and do not know what you are talking about. I will eleaberate for you.
There are two reasons that I know that the store doesn’t pick up the phone 95% of the time. Firstly, several months back I needed a firmwear upgrade and tried to call the store to make an appointment (they do upgrades by appointment there). I called 2-3 times a day at different times for several days and was unable to get through. I finally had a cust care rep get through to them (how he did I don’t know, but I know it took him a while). Secondly, I worked for Sprint for 4 years, the last year of my employment at the actual location in question. When ...
