Storing & using Ringers from internal memory...
Hey everyone! I'm about to purchase this phone but had some Q's regarding the 3 Mb's of internal memory. After reading other threads, it seems that if you want to use downloaded ringers, they must be stored on the 3 Mb of internal memory...NOT the SD card. I'm guessing that ringers can be stored on the card (or a PC) but would need to be swapped out & substituted w/ringers stored in the internal memory...is this true? If so, approx. how many ringers can be stored on the internal memory? Another guess of mine is that this would only apply to "audio" ringers, not for video ringers, whether recorded w/the phone or downloaded from Sprint, etc (being that 3 Mb isn't large enough to house video ringers)? Am I correct in these assumptions? Thank yo...

Ringer Volume and Sound Quality
I own Sanyo 8200 and the ringer volume is awful. I can only hear my phone ring if I am right next to it. Is the ringer volume of the 5600 Loud? I mean like a nextel? How is the ACC ringers sound quality. Is it clear? Also did I hear somebody say that you can't assign downloaded ringers to contacts in your phone book? Is that true? I don't' know if I should get this phone or the 7400. Can somebody help me out? Thanks. 🙂

Sanyo 5600 video picture quality problem
Hey i just got the sanyo 5600 today, everything works great on it except for the video and camera. I have been taking pics and videos, and no matter what setting i have it on the video and pics look very pixelated. My gf has the 7400 and we both will take a video of the same thing, hers will look perfect, where mine looks all pixelated and crappy. If anyone has any suggestions on maybe a way to change a setting i may have neglected, or is this just the way the 5600 is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Scott

Viruis on 3gforfree.com
Just found out there's a virus on 3gforfree.com.If you download anything for that site it will cause you to lose some applications as well as any ready link phone book info. If it affects your phone, you will have to go into your sprint store to have them to flash the software in your phone. Be careful.Hope this hepls everyone.

help me decide. is this phone really worth it?
i know most of you are going nuts over the mm-5600...but is it really the best phone on the market?
my contract just ended with nextel and i am up in the air about which carrier to go with. sprint, att/cingular, or verizon.
while the mm-5600 is the best sprint phone, it seems there are quite a few phones w/ similar or more features from other carriers.
i guess in other words, how does the mm-5600 compare to the sony ericsson s710a or the motorola mpx220 for cingular? or the audiovox CDM-8940 for verizon?
it seems those phones all have the same features and the 2 cingular phones have BT.
so..being that i can go with any carrier and i am basically making my decision based on the phone...do i really need sprint and the 5600?

Compatible charger and accesories
I currently own the Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM-4500
and want to know if my car charger will still work and my Futuredial snapsync and snapdialer software will still work with this new mm-5600 phone. I heard that you can't use the phone as a modem anymore. IS this true. Or can I still use the software for data downloading etc.

Woo-Hah!!! Got my 5600!
Ordered from sprint on WED and got it on FRI! I will post a review after I tinker with it a little bit. 😁
It's getting too expensive...
does anyone agree with me that owning a sprint pcs phone can get just a little too expensive, monthly payments that is. i'm paying for the 7pm, 300 minute plan which is $40. Then add the vision for $15, then add another $10 for the multi-media player, then add an extra $5 per month per channel, then add tax ($5) and i'm looking at nearly $75-$80 per month. Do you guys think that's pushing??

Video Caller ID
To all of you proud owners of this new phone...have any of you had a chance to use the "Video Caller ID"? I'd like to know if the audio from your video clip is also part of the "ringer"? Or, is the video clip accompanied by one of the default or stored (audio) ringers from the phone itself?
Thank you! 😎

Clearing things up with BestBuy Release
Hey Y'all... I work for bestbuy and I did a little searching for most parts of the US... Everyone has somewhere around 5 to 10 of the phones coming in on order. They have only been placed on order and nothing is in the warehouse. This means one of two things. Either Bestbuy is getting them directly from Sanyo or Sanyo will be sending a big shipment to the warehouse so that stores will be able to access it. All in all, bestbuy stores should be receiving them at the soonest some time next week on either Tuesday or Thrusday... If not then for sure it will be in on the 20th... That is the ETA release... Hopefully this answers some questions on regards to bestbuy release.
Y'all have a good day... Enjoy yourself!
