Tmobile Strikes Again!
At least for voice, anyway...I don't think the 7710's EDGE capability will work too well on Tmobile's network. But it should be backwards compatible with GPRS anyway, right?

EDGE is nearing the end of the testing stage from what I have heard thru the "pinkvine". :-)
Who knows, it might come sooner than the June '05 tentative date.

Why is it taking so long for t-mo to deploy EDGE...ATT had it, and Cingular has it allover their network? What's t-mo's problem?

Yep - its definately backwards compatible with GPRS. Its on the spec list. Roll on Edge, though!! Using the web on this thing will be fantastic.

has anyone thought that maybe because it has edge it will be released on the only edge network in america? (cingular)
