Any thoughts as to which carrier?
I don't even recall seeing this handset.
...
Well, there's really not that many options as to which carrier will carry it. Either T-Mobile or Cingular, or both, or maybe even neither. We'll all know in due time.
...
well t-mobile doesn't support 800Mhz. I am pretty sure that both T-Mo and Cingular have been testing PTT, so my guess is unless T-Mo signs 850 roaming agreements i would suspect it is for cingular. I guess we'll have to see..
cheers.. 😕 😕
...
I'd remind you that T-mobile does have some phones that support 800mhz the nokia 6800 for one... anyway I don't think cingular will pick up this phone they tend to like to support phones people actually would want to buy
...
Cingular is about to launch PTT in mulitple Networks as a beta test (purely educated speculation) and I would suspect that this is going to be one of the initial phones offered.
...
Possibly a new carrier, say post MCI/Qwest or MCI/Whomever depending on the correct timeline of both the phones availability and the forthcoming company. 😉

Yeah its not going to be any of the virtual carriers because they are with sprint. Which is CDMA and this is a GSM phone. It has the 800mhz band so it will probably be attws/cingular ptt. It is in trial stages right now i would expect this would be one of the 1st phones to be offered for PTT service with Cingular.
