Just got a Flip 4 and I’m especially impressed with the fully contained factory reset (no external downloads into the phone as part of the process).
This is my first flip phone in over ten years. Is this type of fully contained factory reset a common thing nowadays in flip phones?
It would be great if smartphones could be sanitized of any malware with a fully contained factory reset (and no external downloads - Apple’s only Achilles heel for the possible introduction of malware is when Bluetooth is turned on during such processes as factory resets).
I’d like to learn more about self-contained factory resets in non-smart cellphones but not sure how to word such a Google search.
Any recommendations?
