i know u cant assign mp3s as ringtones but can u still assign polyphonice ring tones to diff ppl?

you can't but you can assign it to ten groups. and you can modify each group however you like, but with only 10 ringtones...I dont know how much modification you can do though. but if you're rich, you can always download mp3 ringtones from cingular

sorry, yeah you can, but with ten ringtones, how many of them can you really make unique...it's under multimedi caller ID

The SGH-p777 will only support MP3 ringtones which are downloaded to the handset. The reason being, the memory location where downloaded items are stored is separate from the memory location the MP3 Player accesses. The storage location for ringtones, or downloaded MP3 files is not accessible to the end user.
