PIM Sync??
I couldn't get the PIM sync function to ever work. I finally got my contacts to sync with the easyGPRS software. You can download it from the UK Samsung website. You have to find the right COM port that the phone is connected to before it'll recognize it in the software though. I still haven't figured out how to move calendar items or to do items from outlook still. I was petrified of manually entering all 350 of my contacts though.

thks for the info..i went to the UK site and found the easy studio PC Sync software but no easy gprs... with the pc sync isntalled i still cannot get the phone to communicate. can u send me a link to the easyGPRS s/w thks

sweet..i found the easyGPRS at UK site and it works YEAH!!..i can now edit the phone book, to do list, calander, all the messages, etc..thks bro

You got the other items (calendar and to do) to edit, huh? I guess I'll have to go back in there and figure it out. My screen broke on my p777 a couple days ago so I had to exchange it back with the website I bought it from. Still waiting for it to get here. In the meantime I figured out how to unluck my old ATT phone and put the new cingular SIM in there. I'm feeling pretty technically savvy right now.
I'm still a little upset that Samsung's tech support wouldn't show me how to use easyGPRS. I had to read a hundred forums before I found someone who did it with a different samsung phone. I tried it with mine and it worked. They should just bundle the software with the phone and not make people go to UK sites . . .

yeah i set my com parot to 6 i think and everything works fine..i can edit like u mentioned the calender and to do..i was surprised...anyways yeah thats BS..if u got the US site u cant even download any software for any cell phones..u have to buy the easyGPRS kit for $70-80..im glad u found it on the UK site..good luck with your phone bro

Thank you. I hammered on Samsung customer service, tech support and data group and they wouldn't budge on this saying it wasn't possible. I tried the Korean site and couldn't figure out how to navigate.

Hmm, I wonder who made the decision of releasing that software with its "incompatibility" with Outlook knowing that half of the planet uses MS products?
