Downloaded Ringtone Question
I downloaded a music ringtone to my phone from the website but when it plays on my phone, it is only a short 5 second verse of the song and then it repeats. Is there a way to set it to play more of the song? It would be very dissapointing to pay 2.50 for a 5 second vocal of a song. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Yes, Cingular. Also I downloaded one from 3G website and the same problem occurred...a very short verse of the ringtone that repeats.

Are they low or sound bad? If so then it is playing SMAF ringtones. The MP3 ringtones are usually longer and better sounding. Only problem is that the p777 doesnt let you assign mp3's as ringtones(so ive heard).If thats the case thats why Cingular sells the low quality SMAF rinngtones for this phone.

Actually if you edit down the mp3 ringtones yourself, then upload them to 3Gupload, then click on "Do Not Format...", the mp3 ringtones will work fine. That's how I did it. When you edit the ringtones, try to save them as mono instead of stereo. The files will be smaller and easier to download.
