charging port
Does anybody know if this phone has the same charging port as the previous motos?
And please no answers from any of you cingular or t-mob freaks. I will not switch carriers because of a phone and I do not find other males attractive. So we have nothing in common.
Only answers from verizon people, who don't degrade themselves by trying to get everybody to switch.

I would think it would be the same. This is basicly just an updated V710 and the V710 has the same charge port that other motos have had for the last few years.

it's supposed to be different. The v710 and the 265 were supposedly the last ones to have the universal charging port. Although I hate the way the port is shaped, it's a shame that this will no longer be the standard as it was one of the characteristics that set motorola apart.

Yeah, I'm 95% positive it has a different charging port. The one I saw about a month and a half ago with the Verizon logo did. It's about time I'll say. It's good that they were universal, but at the same time if your a VZW tech they are your worst nightmare, especially in the v60's and even more so in the v710's.

So it's still a travel charger? Motorola travel chargers aren't dependable. Lg travel chargers are. I even prefer the desktop charger for motorola phones. I have an annoying past history with making my motorola t720 charge because of it's weird motorola travel charger.
travel charger is not the car charger. it's the one where it's basically a string and connects to the cell on one end and into the socket on the other.
