Anyone have a relatively firm date for the release of the e815...my new every two is coming up and the phone looks like it would be a good upgrade for me...just need to know how long I'm going to have to wait. I've heard 2nd qtr '05, but anything more definite than that would help me out...I'm foaming at the mouth for a new phone. 😕

Do you read any of the previous posts??The date is unknown.Get the phone when it comes out.You can use new every 2 at that time, even after 2 years so long as you renew your contract with Verizon.Iam also waiting for the E815 or Lg 8100.

Not true. You have to use the credit within 6 months. Taken straight from Verizon's website:

"If you enrolled in the program on or after 11/25/02, you must take advantage of the New Every Two offer within six months of becoming eligible; otherwise, you may be charged full retail price to upgrade your current handset."

Yeah, he's right. If you've had your equipment for over two years and you've been on ANY rate plan of $34.99 or higher for two consecutive years, you are eligable for New Every Two - Bar none.

Regardless of what you saw on the website, in actuality that is how it works. There is absolutely NO time frame that you have to upgrade your equipment once your NE2 eligable.

First, I apologize about the duplicate post...I posted the question thinking I was in the Verzion forum (not realizing there were forums for individual phones) and DIDN'T realize my question had already been answered. Thank you for those of you that provided useful information. This site has been a lot of help for researching phones.
