How is the microphone with wind noise? The HS850's not great, but better than some headsets with wind, though the Logitech claims to be specially designed to help with wind...does it help?

The Motorola H500 is soon to be released by Motorola by the end of the month it is just like the HS820 but longer battery life and more features and a little smaller. It also has the most up to date bluetooth technology. The price has not been given out yet but keep looking on www.hellomoto.com for the h500. Its the one i will be getting!

I tested the Scala 500 today, it was eh. Nice but it flew around too much and didn't stay securely on my ear AT ALL no matter how I futzed with it. Too bad, it seemed aight and it was cheaper than the 850... Not that I would pay full price for anything 😉

I've got the motorola HS850 and I am not to impressed by it especially for the money I paid for it. The caller on the other end doesn't sound crisp and clear, it seems they are talking far away. I have asked if they can hear me and they say they can hear me dfine. The thing with this headset is if you turn the volume up it starts making a background noise and it gets annoying. I think I am going to send it back to VZW and try the Jabra 250, Logitech Freedom, and Cardo Scala 500 and see which one is the best or any improvement over the Moto HS850.

Out of the three what are your opinions? Which one to pick? 😕

I've had the 820 for about 12 days - seemed ok but I had nothing to compare it to. Yesterday bought the Logitech Freedom based on advice from forums. Returned it today:
1) OUCH: it was very uncomfortable;
2) It looks like a, well, you know. 🤭
I plan to keep the 820.

Try the Scala 500- Very comfortable, very clear sound. I tried the Motorola HS850, and Jabra 250-Both were terrible and had lots of static and background noise. The Logitech is reported to have good sound, but it appears to be uncomfortable. The Scala 500 seems to be the winner! You can buy on Amazon.com for $38.00 includes free shipping! 😁

Just bought the Jabra 250 headset and man am I returning it. I had the Moto HS850 and wasnt to satisfied by it so I picked up the "Jabra and besides the bulky heavy feel to it there was all static in every call. To add to this the vibrate feature wouldn't turn off no matter what until I put it back on the charger. I really am disappointed that these headsets sell for 99 bucks and they perform sub par. I just ordered the Scala 500 as skorpyo31 recommended, hopefully this will be the one.
