all vidoes have to be in 3gp or 3g2 format...than you can simply put them on the transflash from your computer...you can convert your own videos but don't come to me if you wanna know how to do that...hope this helps somewhat đ

1. Purchase a Video Converter, I use WinAvi Video Converter. A really nifty program which has many, many settings. Can convert vob(dvd), avi, mpeg, wmv, rm, asf, etc.
2. Convert! Make sure you set your Output file, so you don't send the newly converted movie China.
3. Next, download Nokia Movie Converter 2.0, it's free, but a pain in the butt to download, http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,,034-63,00. html
4. Set your Video Bit Rate(kbps) to 128. Audio to AMR 12.2. Start time to 0. If you wish to specify the Maximum File Size, you can. But it could contard the movie.
5. Convert again! Files must be mpeg(duh). This program is truly amazing, it makes enormous Movie Files like 1.8 gigs to TransFlash quality of 70 megs.
It doe's thi...

I have a similar question đ
One user has already described the steps, but it seems a bit confusing to me (e.g., do we have to use different programs for the job? And some of those programs are not free? âšī¸ )
I emailed Motorola, and was told that video clip should be in MP4 (MPEG4 ?) format for the phone to play. I did ask them about 3GPP and 3G2, but all they said is that MP4 should work (notice that the demo file on the phone is an MP4 file).
I tried using QuickTime 7 Pro to convert an MPEG clip to MP4. I also played around with the settings to reduce the screen size to 130x80 (which I think fits the phone's screen pretty well, and this re-sizing also reduces the size of the file). Things go well, and the mp4 file has pretty g...

I heard about Im Too, too. I heard that it could convert many different formats, and that it's easy to use, and that people can use the software for a trial period before they decide whether to purchase it. Perhaps I just use the trial period to convert my video clips đ
Just a quick question for now: does IM TOO allows you to resize the screen size to make it smaller (and and this would reduce the file size at the same time)?
Thanks.

yep you click on the video then go to the right side of the screen, theres a format section there where u can change the type of video ( i have always used mpg4) change the size. and there also a option to do a true image something or other (its always false as default) make sure it says true. but in short the answers yes

i should also mention u might need to split the video file down abit i have put scareface, underworld , and monty pythons search for the holy grail on my phone now and for some reason files larger the 40mb i cant transfer to my card that might be my pc mind u but i think its still worth bringing up.

I purchased QuickTime 7 Pro in order to convert some MPEG4 files into 3G2 files for use in my Alltel cellular phone. I have the same problem too: the outcome file has no audio. If I run QuickTime 7 Pro and choose File > Export... > and select 3GPP2 (etc.), there is a line at the bottom of the program that says "no audio track in the source video", but when I play the original clip (an MPEG file) on my computer, the sound is there. How in the world am I supposed to get the video clips to play with audio? Can somebody please help me?
...
1. Get QuickTime Pro from Apple.com.
2. Collect your videos. The Temporary Internet file folder is a good source, for anything you have viewed on a PC.
3. In QuickTime, File > Export > Movie to 3G and change the file extension from 3GPP to 3G2.
4. Copy to Transflash card and enjoy.
