Problems With Ring?
I always lock the keypad now when I really don't
want it to ring, and it's been fine.
When you get this ringing, does it really say you're in vibrate mode still? If you accidently toggle it one way, it goes to "soft" and if you accidently toggle it the other, it goes to "vibrate then ring", both of which eventually give you a ring.
However I did notice that it did vibrate when I received a text message. Weird right?!? I called amp'd customer service and they were very helpful, we double checked to make sure that I wasn't making some mistake by having it set on vibrate then ring or anything like that.
After we checked everything that we could amp'd is sending me a new phone. If you have the insurance on your phone, call amp'd and see if the phone needs to be replaced.

I just bought my phone a little over 2 weeks ago and I just noticed the same problem that you are talking about. When I had the phone on vibrate it would ring still. Thing ring was very quite, but it rang non-the-less, and it wasn't vibrating like I wanted it to.
Vibrate is a style. You can make Vibrate ring all you want by opening the phone and pressing the up/down soft keys. In fact, you can have Vibrate play you a mp3 ringtone if you so desire. I wish this wasn't just a profile and actually a setting.
I had other problems with my phone as well. I would set a ring tone as my default ring tone and for some reason it the default ring tone would change on its own and go back to the factory ring tone.
It was just a suggestion. Calling customer service. If there is something wrong with the phone, amp'd is really helpful and shipped my phone right out to me. (Although I am still waiting for the replacement phone)
