Primary Concern
This is directed toward the people who have the phone already. I MUST have this answered.
I used to own a V600. The MAIN reason I got rid of it was the face that its earpiece was horrible. I couldn't hear anything on it in a loud public or crowded place, and private places weren't that much better. Has that error been fixed with this phone? Or does it still have that problem? If it does, I'm already forgetting about it.
The other thing is how is the processor speed? The V600 was fair at best. It took forever to do simple operations, such as saving picture. How does this one behave?

What carrier do or did you have when you had the V600? I know that T-Mobile USA carries this phone know and the rep that so far no one has had problems.

Yes I've heard the T-Mobile people are okay with the V600. I'm using AT&T/Cingular. I had the V600 under AT&T but my assumption is it was the same way for Cingular, since many people on the Cingular network reported having the same problem. My concern is if this model, the V635, is going to have the same problem. I hope not, as I'm really interested in this phone.

Man, I want this phone too. The only thing is finding out whose going to carry it. It's supposed to come out in late March/Early April. Does anyone if Cingular or T-Mobile USA will carry this phone?

I know I shouldn't jump to conclusions or assume, but MY assumption is this is a Cingular phone. It just seems the type of phone they'd have, that's all.

This concern was fixed with the release of the V620 (which I also have), I have the V635 and works just fine on Cingular's network. The V635 will be out for Cingular in May and I'm assuming T-Mobile will get it also (kind of like how the V600 launched to all 3 major carriers).

I have the V635 and the sound quality is MUCH better. Also the processor speed has also increased. The worst ia about one second to save a 1.3MP pic on the SD card. Really not bad, I promise.
