Performance question

Has anyone had any signifant performance issues with this phone? ie, phone freezing, reception going from full to emergency...... Do all v635s have to be flashed to work at 100% with Cingular?

My phone hasn't done anything of the sort yet but I'm with Rogers. I assume that my phone is flashed 100% since I did get it through the network provider. (Gotta warn you, I'm not totally sure what flashing is but I wouldn't mind knowing)
