Motorola V635

I guess I got an upgrade of some sort because now its Motorola Phone Tools & not mobile...

N e ways WHY for the life of me can I not extract and transfer audio files to my phone using that program. B4 when it was saying Mobile phone tools it use to tell me cannot connect to mobile not with motoro... its tellin me creating failed when i try to save or unable to transfer unsupported format or some crap like that.

But if I use Power MP3 cutter joiner and then use the program to transfer it, it works.

I can chop up video pictures etc and transfer but I can't do it with audio I have to use a totally different program.

I was wondering if anybody else is having this same problem and what can I do to fix it??
It seems like once a week one or two of my contacts in my phone book will just disappear. But when that person calls the ringer tone I have for them goes off ect ect.
But I still have to re-enter all the stuff in again and save it. Plus when I save it again it doesn't say already exits want to overwrite it? I'm curious if this has happened to anybody else that use this phone and what they did to fix it??? Thanks Rox

Will this phone work with Cingular's multimedia and text messages and will i be able to use MEdia Net on this phone if used with Cingular? If you can can you post a link giving this information or will Cingular do this for you?

I already went to the website to download the MMS settings for my phone but it states the maximum amount of MMS settings error so it won't update.
I can't delete the ones I currently have on the phone so I tried editing them with some of the settings I've had on my other phone.

Now I'm stuck.. I can receive MMS messaging from other people.. But I can't seem to send them out? Comes up with an error. Please help.. Thank you Roxanne

I think the phone is too good, not enough glitches or things gone wrong for somebody like Cingular or T-Mobile to pick up. Cause I think they get more money if you bring in broken phones, when they replace them.

So I think this phone is too good, and that they wouldn't want to pick this up because nobody would want to buy anymore phones if the V635 never breaks and is the top of the line on technology for years on end.

I mean a megapixel camera/video, bluetooth, transflash memory capable of up to 1 gig (so far), the screen resolution is incredible, and from reading reviews it seems moto has fixed the low volume earpiece problem...and the list goes on.

Does anybody know if you can install iTunes on the v635 (it comes std on most v3i's)? What about the Motorola player that's loaded on the some other v3i's?

I was curious if you can use the 512mb trans flash memory card? I want to expand on the memory but don't want to get the wrong card if it won't work.. Also I see that it can take the Micro SD card as well or is this wrong?? Thanks Rox

I keep having problems with my phone saying that the "Bluetooth signal is weak; Use headset." I have owned a Tekkeon EzTalker, a Gennum NxZen 5500 Plus, and now a Plantronics Voyager 510. I have also borrowed a Moto HS850 from my mother. I keep having the same problem. Both the phone and the respective bluetooth headset have charged batteries. It's really getting on my nerves. The signal is usually not very strong at all when it is connected to the Bluetooth headset. If, for example, I hold the phone in my hand and extend my arm fully by my side, or if I put the phone in my front pocket, it gets a lot of static and will soon give me this error message. When i make videos on my phone and play them on the phone they play with no sound. They used to play with sound but now they dont. I already check the options and it is on recording sound. And when i put the videos on my computer they have sound. And my speaker works becasue the ringtones ring.

I just got this phone and I love it so far. I knew there was gonna be alot of setup on this phone before I purchased it. But I can't figure it out. My first question is how can I assign pictures to people in my phone book.

I got my phone on 2/10/06 off of ebay. I inserted my sim card thinking that would be all but i can not check my voicemail and i get some txt message when i recive a new voicemail. Also, i can not respond to that message or anyother for that matter. Please help, as I only have till tues. to send back for refund. Love the features of it, but i need it to perform the basic functions most of all.
P.S. I am not familiar with how to flash the phone, if that it all it needs to fix it, so include details if this is neccessary.

I received two of the phones today with T-mobile service, ported and ready to go from J&R Electronics. This phone blows away the V551 I had. It does things the V551 SHOULD have done. I can only assume that the phone is too expensive for the US carriers to "give away." It works like a charm on T-mobile, although I have yet to try any downloads from them, if they are possible.

Does anyone know how to change the 'missed call notification'? I've changed all the other notification sounds, just can't seem to find this one.

I have a Motorola H700 headset that I use with my V635, and I was wondering if it is the headset or the phone that is not allowing me to be able to use my Mp3 ringtones with my headset. Any replies are appreciated.

I have a 3 month old V635. Everything was working fine until I took it in to a Cingular Store. I wanted to see if I could make the new look MEdiaNet work on this phone. They played with the setting and had no luck. Ever since, I do not get a notification of new voice messages. Can anyone help me fix this? What could they have changed to cause this? Thanks!

Although Cingular hammers me every time I call them to convert to a Cingular contract, I am still on the AT&T.

Just curious if this EDGE capability might cause an issue.

hey, ive been trying to set up my phone w/ the ATT MMS settings for a long time. i go to the cingular support site and it sends me the message and all that. but then it says it exceeds the number of profiles allowed and i cant add it. anybody know how to fix this. thanks in advance.
