My little head is so confused!
😕 I've seen a bunch of responses about a DUN #777 and it allows internet access, but how 😳 , is it free 😕 , how much does it cost 😳 , I use to have a Sanyo MM-5600 but lost it at the mall along with my purse 😡 😢 , Sprint sent me a Samsung A800 because the Sanyo was out of stock 😡 , let me just say that this phone is amazing 😁 , its so cute and pretty and sexy 😉 , but enough about me...Just Kidding 😉 ! But if anyone can teach me or help me in my predicament I would greatly appriciate it considering everyone here on this website is very educated in cellular phones and services. Thanks in advanced. 🙂

Your phone (as well as most Sprint phones) can access the 1xRTT vision services to act as a wireless modem.
You would have to use the usb cable that came with the Replacement phone (if it didn't, then you should go to the nearest sprint store and request one, you may have to trade your sanyo cable)
When you hook it up, you will use your laptop/desktop to access it's phone dialer, using the phone as the modem, and these settings:
Phone # - #777
Username - (this is your vision username, which you can change from within sprintpcs.com under personal info)
Password - (this is your vision password, which, again, can be changed from sprintpcs.com)
From here you can access the world wide web from your computer using your phone.

Thanks! Actually since my sanyo wasn't in stock they sent me a brand new Samsung A800 with everything in it, now how fast would you say this alternate way of internet is, I currently have comcast, but would using my phone be as slow as dial-up? Thanks again MONKEYRACER! 😁 😉 🙂

Sprint claims that the 1xRTT technology runs at speeds of anywhere between 30Kbps and 50 Kbps at any given moment, average speeds of 70kbps, and burst/max speeds of up to 144kbps, so on average it's only slightly quicker than dial up, but at max speed it's almost 3 times as fast.
It will be revoltingly slow compared to your high speed internet, but at least it's mobile.
So for the person who just wants to be able to check e-mail on their laptop while sitting in grid-lock, or otherwise away from their workstation, it's a great alternative.
Some cities have a higher speed internet service that may be less expensive than Sprint, for example in Denver and San Diego, Ricochet (ricochet.com) has a mobile internet solution that has unlim...

Sailor Moon, Was your phone still under warranty, were you paying the monthly insurance to Sprint, or do they just provide replacements if you ask nicely?
I wasn't paying insurance on my old phone and was out of luck when it quit, but my co-worker had an experience similar to yours and he did not have their insurance.
I'm wondering because I didn't bother to pay insurance on my new phone either, but have recently had a few close calls in dropping it.

I actually had a Sanyo MM-5600 and got it April of 2005, then I lost that one and I was paying $5 for the insurance, they had first sent me this crappy phone which was a Sanyo MM-8300, it was a cheap plastic toy with a bad screen, a huge downgrade from my MM-5600, so I complained about the phone they sent me and they said I could pick any phone that was in stock and I picked the Samsung A800 and I sent the MM-8300 back to sprint. It was a hassle at first but now everything is A-OKAY! I lost my phone of last month so I was still under warrenty and had the insurance, the reason I got the insurance was The MM-5600 was an expensive phone, and I couldn't risk not having the security of staying connected with the replacement program.
