to wait??.. or to go for Audiovox 5600
I have been waiting for this Nokia Beauty for couple of months!!.. and Now, with its sale starting directly from Nokia, many web blogs are reprting that this might be nokia strategy to bypass carieers and come direct to consumer...a they are in Asia. It might be good for Consumers in the end...but $599 for this, seems too much i guess!!!
wonder..if audiovox 5600, also available from Cingular, and as cheap as $0 with new plan contract...will that be a nice alternative??..
It playa music..videos..bettwe email..camera..windows OS!!.. so, why not??
...
Wait. I had the 5600 for a little less than thirty days, and while it was a great little phone it's really just not the same as the 6682. I returned my audiovox after I got my 6682 because the nokia did everything the audiovox did, but much much better. And cingular will be releasing the phone here, hopefully as soon as the later end of August.

And.. any idea as abt the cost difference between the two with cigular new contract?
and may i also try something like..get a audiovox 5600, and hope to have 6682 be releases in 30 days and get an exchange .. ( i think i can return a phone in 30 days..right?)
...
I am in the same predicament as some of you...I will be switching to cingular from sprint in september. I was leaning towards the audiovox 5600 but if the nokia 6682 is out by then, I will DEFINITELY get it instead!

Instore the 6682 is going to be 299.99 with 2year, add $75 for one year and 599.99 without a contract.
Thirty days with the box, receipt and everything. IMHO, I would just wait for the 6682 if its not too pricy. I love mine.

Audiovox is avaialble for $199.99 on cingular website, and for $0 through many other agents..
Now, if 6682 is for $299.99 officially through CIngular website.. wat could be its approximate price offered by agents..??..$100.00??? ... and how soon will that happen??
...
see, I am an agent, and our pricing is the same as the corporate stores in the area. As so far as wirefly.com or other similar sites, they usually have you sign an agreement with them as well as cingular, so if you ever need to break that contract you would have two ETFs...
