Motorola PEBL U6

I have at&t and recently got the pebl. everything works fine with the exception that when the phone is plugged in charging the battery charge status only indicated one bar and no matter how long i leave it plugged in it stays like this. as soon as i unplug the charger the battery status shows that the phone is fully charge. is this a phone issue or a battery issue? anyway I can fix it?

Anyone have a clue as to why my PEBL will now not automatically update the time? It used to work when it was Cingular. I can send and receive MMS and browse Internet fine. It's just my time won't autoupdate!!!

Does any1 know if there is a way to forward a text msg or a copy of a txt msg on the PEBL to another phone number???

This morning, a friend tried to send me a MMS message and my phone rejected it b/c it was unable to download the message from the server.

I called Cingular this morning and got the MMS server address, but they said that the PEBL is one of the phones that the Cingular MMS does not work with.

Has anyone had success with the PEBL and MMS on Cingular?

Hello, is there a way I could block a specific number I don't want to receive any calls from. I don't wish to change my current number, too many people knows it. Just block a number so the phone doesn't ring when a call from it is incoming. Thanx

i have owned other Motorola phones in the past and, with previous models, my phone would beep every 5-7 min after i missed a call until i checked it. My Pebl does not do that. have other pebl owners noticed this or is my phone defective?

Just bought a new motorola pebl and I'm very happy with it. Just one thing i cant figure out: my current text messages (sms)inbox are stored on my sim card... Does anyone know if i can get my text messages also stored in the memory of the phone?

I live in the Ohio area and purchased a T-Mobile Moto Pebl. Well I have Cellular One service. For some reason this phone will not work with Cell one. So I have no choice but to sell the phone. Retail price is $299.99. Selling for $100.00 or best offer.

Anyone know if there is a way to delete the videos and photos that came with the phone?

On Motorola's website you can buy an unlocked Pebl that uses the GMS network. Does anyone know if because the phone is unlocked that it will work with Verizon's network? I like the phone a lot, but if it won't work with the network then there is no point in getting it. Has anyone done this? Any input would be appreciated.

I am with Cingular and need the subsidy code to unlock the pebl U6. Any help/info would be GREATLY appreciated.

As I understand, the phone works fine on Cingular, but for all the functions to work properly browser settings have to be changed.
Can someone who has done this post here the exact procedure to follow. SO that future users will be able to do this quickly and painlessly!!!

PS. Has anyone got their MMS working on Cingular? It should work once the browser settings are correct, however this doesn't seem to be the case for many users.

Am having trouble retrieving voice mail. Says "cannot complete call as dialed". Anyone know how to set up Cingular voice mail with the PEBL?

Am having trouble with voice dial feature on the PEBL. When I push the voice button it says "no names stored". As I understand it it is supposed to say "say a command" at which time you can say name dial or number dial among several options. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Anyone have any suggestions?

I just bought an unlocked PEBL to use with Cingular. Reception works great as does most everything else but just one bothersome issue. Everytime I go to check my voicemail, I get a wierd text message from what looks like a little wine bottle and the @ symbol. When try to reply, no reply address. I've messed around with the notification settings on both voicemail and message inbox, and this didn't help. I've also spoken with both Motorola and Cingular and they were pretty much useless. I have a friend having the same exact problem with PEBL on T-Mobile (also unlocked). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've thought about doing a software update but I really don't want to lose all the settings, rings, etc on my phone. Thanks!

I am curious before I go out and get a pebl, how the cover holds up. I would like to know after a month or so does the cover scratch up or flake off?

I've been dreaming about the Pebl for a while now and I've been researching it and just went to a t-mobile store at the mall and asked if I could look at it but they told me that they don't carry it anymore because they had too many problems with shutting off and really bad battery life. They said that they only sold it for like a year but they could special order it for me. I went to the t-mobile web site and it says you can still get it? Does anyone know what is going on? Is the Pebl going to become extinct soon? ☹️

Anyone know why T-Mobile is offereing the PEBL for FREE to ANYONE who wants it?

I did not qualify for the fully discounted price on handsets but was able to upgrade to the PEBL online for FREE today. I have never seen T-Mobile offer a free handset to people who don't qualify. My girl was even able to order one today for free and she upgraded to another phone a month ago.

The phone's not going to turn into a pumpkin after a month, is it? Called to see what the known issues were and there weren't too many so I thought that it would be a good idea to grab one.

Any ideas?

I just bought an unlocked PEBL however the language on the phone is in Italian. How do I change it to English?
