Nokia 6101 / 6102
questions for someone that has it
3 questions about the phone before i go and get it
1. is there a way to activate vibrate or silent mode without opening the phone i.e. a side button?
2. is the speaker volume really that soft?
3. does the phone respond quickly when navigating the menus (my moto doesnt)

1. No you cant make it vibrate without opening it because it has to be set on a profile.
and yes you can silence the phone during a ring by pressing the volume rocker.
2. Okay, its pretty loud, but if u dont have it placed directly on your ear in the perfect spot u can barely hear. its my main gripe with the phone but i still love it.
3. Navigation is a breeze, and a very quick breeze at that.

i meant can you change the profile to vibrate/silent without opening the phone...
also it seems that its been a complaint by many people especially in these forums and on the review page about the soft volume - is it possible there is a difference between the 6101 and 6102 on this issue?

YES... You can change profiles without opening the phone using voice commands.
Go into settings, and then shortcuts or something and you can set them up.
