ok this is not working.... i put vibrate on and i call it and it doesnt vibrate at all

What is the profile you arev trying to vibrate? Make sure you pick a pretty loud ring tone and set the ring volume on high.
If that doesn't get it - it might be broken, take it back.

Is there a shortcut to turning off the ringer and keep it only in vibrate mode? It's clunky to have to hit several buttons in a menu to do it, especially in a darkened public place. My old Samsung had such a shortcut. Any help appreciated. I looked in the manual and could not find anything. Thanks!

I just have a Silent profile (incoming call alert off, vibrate on) set at the top of the list in the "Go to" menu. To set it, I hit the Go to button and the Silent mode is already selected - then just press select and it done! Takes me 2 - 3 seconds to change it from the instant I pick up the handset. I could do it deep inside a bat cave just as fast.

i figured it out.... it doesnt vibrate when it is connected to the charger... is that normal?
